Parade Day and More with #Linky

Welcome to my Picture Perfect

We are at the end of the school year with the kids in their fourth term. The high school where my teenagers are at has a 102 year-old tradition called Parade Day for the graduating class. When it was Jeremiah's Parade Day, it was their 100th anniversary.

The final exams are about to begin, but Jessica's Parade Day and graduation ceremony was already last week Friday. In South Africa, the matrics (seniors) will only get their final results in the new year when they are officially out of school.

There has been rioting at the universities in regards to the increase in fees. Thankfully, it looks like our son will be able to finish his second year. At his university things have quietened down for the most part. There is still a lot of uncertainty about next year and some universities aren't handing out acceptance letters because of it.

Great pictures and smiles!
I understand the waiting for final results is frustrating. It can be stressful for seniors going onto university as they don't get their university entrance unless they achieve sufficiently. Good luck for your daughter.

Yes, and our universities are struggling with the rioting that's been going on. Your sunset photos are full of intense colour. Thanks for visiting and sharing!

Thanks, Julie! The country, although much smaller than the US, has about as much natural variety. And, like the politics in the States, South Africa is in need of much prayer. I'm now following you on Twitter. Wishing you a great week!
